This dance class will introduce students to beginner ballet, tap and jazz technique. Your Shooting Star will learn balance, grace, musicality and creativity through barre and center dance movement.

Suitable for ages 8-13

This class will start with tap, and then transition into either ballet or jazz each class. The second half of class will alternate the dance styles of either ballet or jazz weekly to teach the students a variety of dance styles.

By the end of the season, students will learn two dances in two different styles to perform on stage at the annual spring recital.

Dress Code: Leotard, tights, choice of tutu, ballet shoes and tap shoes with hair pulled out of face
